Revisiting Paradise

As I caste my memories into my liberating shadows
I whirl around the sprouting evergreens that levitate contentment.
Drawing near, the leaves reassure me of time
As I search for an enchanted paradise

I can feel beauty as though she is encouraged by the voices
Of branches casting silhouettes of light and life,
Illusions of ambient rays; burnished amber and blushing roses
Twinkle in my eyes as I try to find meaning

It is only now that I am awake
By moonlight, the celebration of colour has graced my home
My soul has wandered through her broken branches
Her heart paints the fallen with ash and dusk
Sculpted by the scent of our blossoming beloved
Finally, I dance with her on earth and sky
