Our Stories.
You won’t find Zardozi’s stories in mainstream media. The triumph of the first female amputee to climb Mount Everest and the strength of victims of abuse speaking out from the slums of India to the cities of America, are just some of the stories we have covered. Even though we love the beauty and romance that surrounds our South Asian weddings, we want contributors who can break the mould and write about what goes on in women’s entire lives. We aim to influence and inspire.
Our Voice.
Fearless and fun, our Writers know how to tell a story that will strike up conversations. Our Contributors both pitch story ideas and are able to take on assignments as needed. Your Zardozi woman’s voice should shine through your piece. You don’t have to have a journalism degree, but your writing should be conversational, honest, factual and free from grammar and spelling mistakes. All submissions should include headlines and subtitles.

Picture Perfect.
You must own the rights to any photos you submit. Or you must show proof that the original photographer permits Zardozi to use their photos for any commercial use. Photos should be high-resolution and at least 300 dpi, or greater, and as a .tiff or .jpg that can be reproduced at 1,650 pixels wide. For large files, please submit through a file transfer site like Dropbox or WeTransfer. By submitting your photos, you agree to Zardozi’s Photo Submission Terms & Conditions.
